MY JOURNEY
When I was a little girl I grew up in an iconic Aussie beach shack. The stunning sand and water of Crowdy Bay and Beaches was just a few hundred metres from our doorstep. Days were spent in ocean rock pools diving into the sea and exploring everything under and above the water. Dad had a fishing trawler and I spent many a day and night so far out to sea that the land was no longer visible. I loved the curves of the timber in the hull of the boat and how the little timber wheelhouse sat proudly on the deck, everything built carefully to serve a purpose. Here began my strong sense of style and a connection with calming natural palettes and raw natural materials. It also helped me gain a great eye for detail and an understanding of function and form.
My Block experience proved to me that I can put a room together, quickly and on a tight budget... There was no room for indecision!
I've completed 7 renovations over the last few years and I'm very passionate about taking something old and making it magnificent.
In all of my decorating I appreciate balanced spaces that are soothing to be in. I love neutral, earthy palettes. Enhanced with a splash of colour.
OUR HOME
I continue to immerse myself in imagining & experimenting with Interiors with many builds & renovations under my belt, most recently The Block 2019.

School holidays are over! We love holidays and had so much fun which means Dog hair, sand, dirt and more all through the house. Pretty normal right?
These holidays we had a secret weapon though! The Dyson. Tyler is a gadget guy, he is loving the new Dyson. It’s the light, the dust counter and how it picks everything up that has him hooked. He was whipping around vacuuming non stop all holidays.
That meant feet up for me! 😉

This years NAIDOC theme is Heal Country, Healing Country means embracing First Nation's cultural knowledge and understanding of Country as part of Australia's national heritage. ... Healing Country means finally resolving many of the outstanding injustices which impact on the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It must be a fair and equitable resolution
We hope everyone celebrates and gets involved with NAIDOC events happening around your area. We understand a lot may be postponed due to COVID but we hope everyone can celebrate in some way as we have so much to celebrate this week and always.

If you're thinking about going on The Block, a piece of advice that I'd give is; first and foremost you need to do it with someone you love and trust! This experience pushed us to our limits, because we had each other to lean on we came through it stronger than ever.

THE BLOCK 2019
Recently I was a contestant on the reality show The Block. I learned so much and made many decisions under pressure. I feel my Block experience has helped me uncover some of the fundamentals of design & what makes a room work. It has helped me to experiment more with styling a space.
